MEDIA CONSULTANT
Tim leads on Halogen’s media training activities
and comes with an excellent pedigree having trained many top executives
and professionals on how to conduct themselves during encounters with
the media.
He is also a freelance columnist for newspapers and magazines
including The Spectator, Independent, Herald, Sunday Times,
New Statesman, Scottish Daily Mail, The Economist and
a regular TV and radio political commentator for STV,
BBC Radio etc.
Tim was previously Editor and Assistant Editor of The Scotsman newspaper
for 3 years and previous to that worked for 9 years as Editor of BBC
Scotland news programmes, Assistant Editor BBC Radio Five Live and
Senior Duty Editor and Producer, ‘The Today Programme’.
Tim also has a great deal of political experience notably
as Parliamentary Press Officer to the late Donald Dewar
MP (then Shadow Secretary of State) and the Scottish Labour
MPs at Westminster. |
