We made the decision that we should do our best to give something back to the wider community by offering free support to causes or initiatives where we feel we can make a difference. One such cause is Back Onside.
Halogen have been ‘fans’ of Back Onside for a number of years, so it gives us great pride to have the opportunity to become official ‘supporters’ after they agreed to be our new charity partners.
Back Onside began its journey in 2017 — an innovative idea by founder Libby Emmerson to change the mindset on mental health issues in sport and society. Working with professional and amateur football clubs to help them discuss mental health in the same way as physical health, during the past six years the charity has supported a vast number of players and staff at many clubs across the country.
